SOLD - A Piece of Television History - Nora Battys Cottage from BBC's Last of the Summer Wine

Nora Batty’s Cottage
Last of the Summer Wine.

Ernest Wilson Business Agents are pleased to confirm the sale of one of TV’s most iconic properties. Nora Batty’s Cottage appeared in many episodes of the popular TV series from 1973—2010 and Nora Batty was often seen sweeping the steps with her brush before swinging it at Compo which produced some very comical situations.

Tastefully decorated (as Nora Batty would approve) with many props from the show as well as signed photos of the cast & crew.

The 2 bedroomed cottage is nestled amongst other famous sites used in the series including Sids CafĂ©, The White Horse Pub, the steps that Compo ran up, Howard & Pearl’s house etc.

The property is now used as a successful holiday let and is popular with visitors from all over the world, especially American tourists who rave over the Last of the Summer Wine episodes that are shown there.

The new owners, Richard & Loretta Skelton are continuing to run the business as a holiday let and more details can be obtained from their website www.nora-battys.co.uk
