Gordon Ramsays 'best restaurants' finalists Prashad found new premises by Ernest Wilsons!

In early January 2012, I spoke to Bobby Patel, Prashads owner whom had advised previously that he was looking for larger restaurant premises. Since his restaurant had appeared on Channel 4's Gordon Ramseys Best Restaurants He had found some suitable but was having problems and asked if I had anything new to market that would be suitable. I had a few days previously, been instructed on The Victoria, a former pub in Drighlington that was undergoing major refurbishment. I said that if he did not mind the scaffolding and being muddy under foot, I would arrange to show him around. My colleague, Jonathan Holmes met the Patel family at the premises and at first, they were tentative that it did not quite fit their business model. In fact, in the following days, they were convinced that it was not for them. However, after several more viewings, the ideas sprouted and the size of the premises coupled with the location made more sense for them. After some negotiation, an offer was submitted which was agreed and Solicitors were instructed. With this being a new venture, understandably Bobby Patel and family wished to seek advice regards interior & kitchen design, layouts, signage etc. Finally, after substantial 'toing & froing' the matter completed today and I understand that they are looking to open early December 2012.
