Completions

I have just been going through the completions to date from Jan 2010 and it is very encouraging and gladly much better than 2009. Looking at the average sale prices though it is clear that the businesses that are selling are those that are competitively priced.

A number of clients acknowledge that a business is worth what a willing buyer is prepared to pay. Having spoken to our sales team, the consensus is that buyers are more discerning than ever and are viewing more and more businesses and by doing so and comparing, the best value for money businesses are usually the most attractive.

Whilst clients are advised that price is the key, it is often difficult for a seller to reduce to a price lower than they expect or even that they paid for it, however the market dictates the price.
