Buying a business seminar 28th November 2012 - now taking bookings

19 potential purchasers attended the last  successful seminar, a seminar which is capturing people’s attention, and enjoyed an excellently informative day with Ernest Wilsons and invited presenters. 

Delegates learned about all aspects of buying a business; listening to presentations and putting questions to Jeffrey Myers of Jeffrey Myers & Co Solicitors in Leeds, David Slater of Slater Ford Associates Accountants in Bingley, Wendy Hallas, Business Relationship Manager at LloydsTSB Huddersfield and David Talbot of Hiltons Stock Valuers together with the experienced business valuers present from Ernest Wilsons. 

One seminar delegate, Emma Hey from North Yorkshire said afterwards “Good value for money with very helpful handouts and all my questions were answered, definitely recommend”

David Singleton, the former Managing Director of Lloyds TSB Business, said, "There is no doubt about the British appetite for business ownership, but sadly this desire fades largely through fear of the unknown”. 

Certainly for the delegates attending the course, it was the fear that faded rather than the desire by discussing and understanding what was involved in buying a business. 

Francis Bacon said “knowledge is power” and certainly the delegates left feeling more empowered to consider their options in the light of the present opportunities in the business sales market, the finance available and the steps involved.
